The pinecone poked it back.
The elephant got mad
And at it threw a thumbtack.
The thumbtack missed the pinecone
And hit the giraffe in the rear.
The giraffe in its fright
Bit the monkey on the ear.
The monkey got mad
And did what all the monkeys do:
It gathered in its hand
A big ole pile of poo.
He flung it at the giraffe
Who quickly ducked his head.
The poo went on to hit
The poor elephant instead.
The elephant got mad
And finally walked away
And that pinecone still sits there
Poking people to this day.
So if you ever see a pinecone
Don't sit on it, instead
Just simply leave it be
Or you
